WHAT THE CLIENT NEEDED

Opened in 2011, the Volkswagen Group of America (VWGoA) assembly plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, recently celebrated the building of its 700,000th Passat sedan. The plant also builds the seven-passenger Atlas SUV, and will soon be adding production of a five-passenger Atlas model.

VWGoA asked Adams to create various posters to be hung in its manufacturing plant, offices, break rooms, dining areas, and various other locations throughout its 1,900,000-square-foot facility.

WHAT WE PROVIDED

I suggested that the client should consider printing on a material called Wall Mark, which adheres to any surface, including painted block, painted sheetrock, and wallpapered walls. The client appreciated the suggestion, and not only we were able to print multiple sizes, including horizontal and vertical, but our large digital printing capabilities allowed us to print small quantities, as well.

THE RESULTS

The posters were a huge success. After several months, we have received no complaints about the posters fading or falling off the walls, and several additional managers within VWGoA have requested the same product for their own departments.
